The Barn at Green Valley didn’t even have a name when we first laid eyes on it. The name, developed by Event Space Consulting, was the start of a two-year partnership with the venue. Having been originally built and only partially completed for the property owners' daughter’s wedding, Event Space Consulting was hired to bring the partially finished barn to life, help make interior and exterior finishing and detail decisions, and dream up a brand and marketing strategy to showcase the new venue and introduce it to the event and hospitality industry. Event Space Consulting worked with a local graphic designer, Broadsheet Design, to create several branding directions and names to present to the owners. Once the brand direction was secured, a website and Instagram account were created and a photo shoot was designed, styled and produced to fill the venue website and Instagram account with beautiful images of the property. Event Space Consulting wrote all client venue-hire agreements; selected and vetted all preferred vendors; and set all venue pricing, policies and guidelines for the property. The photo shoot was published on two high-profile wedding blogs and in a highly distributed print wedding magazine.

Event Space Consulting worked with the venue and its partners to create a brand and set pricing, guidelines, policies and preferred vendors. Then, it was time for a party to celebrate the opening! Event Space Consulting partnered with some of the most excellent event vendors in the business to design and produce an event that was targeted at the top event planners in the San Francisco Bay Area. More than 50 top planners attended the luncheon, touring the property, posting on social media, and sharing with their wedding and event clients. Event Space Consulting designed each unique area of the venue to give the space a sense of place and purpose and showcase the limitless possibilities of each environment within the space. The event was published on two of the finest event and venue blogs and online magazines, as well as posted virally on social media the week of the event and the weeks following the event.
