Timber Cove Resort recently underwent a handsome multi-million-dollar renovation. Located high on the cliff above the first-rate coastal waters of Jenner, California, the resort hadn’t been touched since the 1970s. The owners brought in New York City interior design mavens The Novogratz to head the redesign of this coastal landmark. The Event Space Consulting crew offered up their hospitality-savvy services to plan, design and produce a two-day showcase of the property to some of the San Francisco Bay Area's most sought-after interior designers, event and design company owners, event planners, hospitality influencers, and event industry insiders. In conjunction with the marketing retreat that Event Space Consulting designed, they partnered with Yonder Design to produce high-level collateral, including an event-specific website; printed, letter-pressed and handmade paper materials; custom invitation suites; dinner menus; and property signage. Shotgun Floral Design Studio designed floral for the winsome dining space, as well as a sample ceremony area to showcase the stunning event lawn on property. Celebrated wedding photographer Christina McNeil photographed the event and weekend-of festivities, and the images were later published on a nationally recognized wedding blog and online magazine. Event Space Consulting also brought on board Los Angeles-based videographer and film maker Ryan Davis of Cloudless Weddings, as well as several upscale rental companies to provide their services for the event and further beautify the property.

In addition to the high level of exposure via social media, online blogs and top-of-the-line local vendors, Timber Cover Resort is now in possession of many great new industry contacts and preferred vendors, incredible new venue images of the event weekend, as well as new images of select hotel rooms and the venue's many public areas. They also have an incredible video that truly captures the beauty of the property and all that it offers. Most notable, Timber Cove was able to help produce a prominent, highly stylized event in their new event space with no paying clients attached, just industry insiders. This allowed the venue to take risks, learn from their mistakes and gain valuable insight on how the space works best. They learned what to do differently next time a client is involved, and how best to market the use of the event spaces in the future when booking. Since the industry event, the venue has a fully booked wedding season, with no dates to spare.
